I think I always knew I could make a difference. I wanted dancers to feel truly seen and to know that I care- about their potential, their growth, their lives, and who they are as people. I've learned many valuable lessons from mentors and friends in my own life! I also have a passion for dancers being taught with clarity and high expectations, proper technique development, and having an updated knowledge base to support one's teachings. It is crucial that educators stay learning about the latest trends, happenings, and ways to prevent injury in the dance world- evolution is all part of the rhythm.
Progress over perfection- always! As a perfectionist, this has taken a while for me to learn. It has created paralysis in my own life, while waiting for the “perfect” moment or outcome- and led to procrastination or times where I never even got started at all. I have since learned to enjoy the process more and not be so hard on myself.
Anything by Shaboozey! Or Tate McRae... or Lizzo!
"360" by Charli XCX
😭 because I'm dramatic... 😂

My favorite one is where the dance moms try and recreate their favorite part of their daughter's solo!
Joy in every eight count!
My favorite snack duo is an Alani and a chomps!!
I love watching young athletes who just want to improve and get better at their craft! And seeing the confidence grow in a young dancer is so special to me.
Dirty Dancing!
A lemur, simply because I am a lemur in another life!
Since I have grown up in the strict ballet world, it has taught me so much about how to be respectful, precise, and elegant in the studio. It also taught me to be who I am today!
I have always looked up to the choreographer, Maria Konrad. I had the opportunity to work with her recently and that would be someone I would love to see her life and dance work!
I love to have fun, but the ballet world is very serious as you probably know. So I think my movie title would be "Confetti & Pirouettes". It's fun, but also shows some seriousness!
Oh TJ Maxx 100%!
Wolf- trying to lead a pack, fierce but nurturing while helping baby wolves grow 🐺
Currently 🎄 because it’s December and this is my favorite time of year!
High School Musical
Nutty Buddies or Puppy Chow!
Simone Biles
Right now, I think it's the DCC "Boom Boom Shake Shake" dance trend! I love it!
The most binge worthy show I’ve seen is Desperate Housewives!
My favorite local treat is most definitely Red Rock. Their sandwiches, cookies, and everything in-between are to die for!
Being resilient; even when things get hard, keep going because there always is light at the end of every tunnel!
"Goodness of God"
😂 because I laugh at anything and everything, in real life and via text. I have a bad sense of humor!
To be honest, I am not very good at hype up songs- so I normally listen to worship music! My favorite worship song is "Sure Been Good" by Elevation Worship because it reminds me I’m living in answered prayers!
The shimmy!
Probably Taylor Swift, so I can see if it’s all as exciting as it looks!
"Paper Rings" by Taylor Swift
Belvita crackers!
🫶🏼 because I’m all about showing love and support!
Work ethic is so incredibly important and you should always give 100% into every task you are presented with.
I think my love for dance and the mentors/coaches that have changed my life for the better really inspired me to begin teaching students.
"Hollaback Girl"
Sometimes I just break out and do a turn!
I think I would be a panther because they are connected to the night, and they also have many characteristics that I can relate to. I try to always connect to the music and act like how a panther would!
Mexico Joes!
To be honest, I am usually the one snagging things from other stashes....
I like to listen to "More Than Able" by Elevation Worship.
I think the animal that best describes my dance style would be a giraffe. They have long limbs and can bend in all sorts of ways!
I love when the people go to Goodwill and sing and dance in the store!
Flying squirrel fits me because I dance with power and expressive energy- and I absolutely love to jump!
Don Pibil!
"Imma Be" by the Black Eyed Peas
You are never too old or too good to learn something new. The best in the business always think they can get better.
Paradiddles!
The ability to take constructive criticism and utilize it in my daily life.
An iced blondie/golden eagle, or just an iced cold brew with sweet cream!
I would for sure swap places with Molly Long!
Cheetah — sharp, fast, powerful, and high-energy!
Dance has taught me discipline and consistency. Showing up even when it’s hard and trusting the process has helped me in school, work, and everyday life.
🩷 because I try to be really intentional when I text and use it to convey sweetness, love, and appreciation!
Pop Musik- loved the song years ago, and I love even more that they brought it back.
